FMS Social Work Team
School Social Workers are an integral part of the Support Services team. They are trained mental health professionals that meet with students individually and in group settings. School Social Workers can assist with mental health concerns, behavioral concerns, positive behavioral support, academic, and classroom support, consultation with teachers, parents, and administrators.

Ms. Brown is the Special Education Social Worker at the High School and presently stepping into the (part-time) role of Chris Taylor, Social Worker, at the Middle School until his welcomed return. Ms. Brown has 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. In addition to her work at the school, she has a private practice counseling office. Her children are all grown up now, so she is looking forward to traveling more and exploring her creative/artistic side.

Kayla is the part time Social Worker at Falmouth Middle School in addition to filling the role of 7th grade resource room support and 8th grade advisory teacher. She has worked in the field of social work and special education for over 15 years working primarily with children, adolescents, and families. In addition to her work in the school, she is a clinician at a private counseling agency and a mother to two children that attend Falmouth Elementary School.
