Classroom Visits: 7th Grade
In December, Ms. Day and Mr. Hamilton were able to visit all 7th graders in their science class to talk about Student Services at FMS.
In the month of December, Mrs. Day and Mr. Hamilton visited 7th graders in their science classes. With this year looking more normal than last, we are getting back to some old practices, such as facilitating groups and conducting classroom lessons with our students.
The 7th grade lesson included:
- An introduction to Student Services at FMS
- What is a School Counselor?
- How do I access my school counselor?
- Confidentiality and mandatory reporting
- Building connections - Signing up for groups
Over the course of the school year, it is our hope that we will meet with all of our students, individually or in groups, in order to create meaningful connections with them and become a valuable resource while at FMS.
